impossible
i know
i may listen
but don't expect
me
to walk in
lock step
with your ideas

an old friend
has past in to
the place that
we must all
eventually follow

expected
but not wanted
known but
at this point
unknown

but regardless
i will miss
my old friend
rest in peace
