Life moves on
as does the clock
I have far more yesterdays
then I do tomorrows
but rather then in fear
I look forward
with anticipation
as to what still has to come
the past is just
well the past
can't be re-written
as it were chipped in stone
but the future
however long
or short
is still a blank page
and I look forward
to what is to be
what is yet to come
